About Us

The 2018 event is organised by Cumnock Show society and a local Larras Lee community working committee.

​The 2010 and 2013 was organised by Cumnock & District Progress Association.

Cumnock & District Progress Association is a not-for-profit organisation that is chartered with ensuring the needs and goals of the community in relation to the physical environment, health and welfare services necessary are met. The Progress Association focuses on projects and events that benefit the surrounding community to assist youth, elderly, rural families, town residents, commercial enterprises and many local not-for-profit organisations.

Cumnock Progress are proud to support the "Opera in the Woolshed" with proceeds going towards the next "Animals on Bikes" competition in November 2013. Animals on Bikes is a paddock art tourist trail that displays 110 sculpture along Obley rd from Molong to Cumnock to Yeoval to the Dubbo Zoo. This tourism initiative assists many local businesses in the district, and encourages visitors to take the road less travelled and discover our scenic country side.
